從以前就一直很喜歡 LINKIN PARK 的音樂。主唱 CHESTER BENNINGTON 的嗓音既唯美又狂暴，既剛強又溫柔，他們的音樂讓許許多多的人感同身受，能引起眾多共鳴也在意料之中。有人說他們是新金屬樂團中的佼佼者，但我覺得稱他們是美聲搖滾一點都不為過！

唯一美中不足的是，他們的音樂總是帶著化不開的負面情結、無止盡的絕望與黑夜，好像人類與世界的唯一宿命只有毀滅。或許，這也和歌手的成長背景有關。不是說任何作品都有著作者個性、人格、過往人生的投射與縮影嗎？就我所知，卻斯特的早年人生就非常坎坷。

因此從他們的歷年專輯到如今的 NEW DIVIDE 中都不難找出末日哀歌的風格，《IN THE END》，《WHAT I´VE DONE》及電影《變形金剛2》的主題歌都是最好的例子。

這版的 MV 帶著濃厚的超現實風格，除了以人類的角度來看人類世界，更用另類的表達手法去呈現機器人看人類世界的眼光。兩者穿插交錯，形成一種既詭異又驚奇的感受。
